Jack walked into the shop yesterday at 1pm. I looked at him and knew it had happened again, they had laid him off from his Temp. job. They said the orders hadn't picked up like they had anticipated...and he was the first one to go. When I looked at him, I kinda chuckled, like a crazy reaction, but it seems like after awhile you just get kindof numb to the whole thing,,,,so hey, bring it on. What else can they throw at us? Actually alot more.
I'm very thankful we're not facing major health issues right now, as some other friends we have are. My friend Anne, is facing Chemo and radiation from reoccurring breast cancer to her lymph's after having a double mastectomy last year. She's a beautiful lady, inside and out and trusts the Lord implicitly. What an inspiration.
I really want to turn off the TV right now and try to stay positive and focus on staying strong in the Word of God. Who wants to watch it right now anyways, with the 3-ring circus (Vintage expression courtesy of my brother-in-law Don...I might add- very appropropriate) going on with Michael Jackson's death. I have other things to think about. It makes me realize how the world will gravitate to the Anti-Christ. People around the world are weeping and wailing about it saying he was such a good person, he only slept next to "a few boys". Yea, prince MJ had unmatched talented, but he was a drug addicted weirdo. The anti-Christ will promise world peace and security and people will flock to him and be deluded in his sick lies.
